Mr.Incrdible Is In Trouble!

Done in gouache.  Never really used gouache before so this one was much slower.

These are my comps I've been doing I started in colour with the first set then found I was having a hard time just mix the right value so I just made it really easy on my brain so I went to value and old black and white movies. After the first few I had done in acrylic I decided that I should just jump into the gouache, so I did and  it felt like learning how to paint all over again. I wasn't get smooth gradations like I was starting to get with the acrylic and I really just want to go back to it but I stuck with the gouache. Doing a lot of trial and error I found out why the gouache wasn't drying as fast as I wanted it was the illustration board I was using it was the cheap stuff and it wasn't absorbing the water well so I just started using  card board which is so cool because it is pre-toned and  absorbs the water as good as the 140 press archers water colour paper.
